Firms across the region are seeking authorization to maintain access to the European market. The scramble has intensified as transitional arrangements across much of the European Economic Area (EEA) are set to expire.

Solana treasury and infrastructure firm Solmate Infrastructure says its dispute with RockawayX has widened beyond a failed acquisition. The company says the conflict has become a broader fight over governance, valuation, and shareholder control.

Axelar has disabled its connection to Secret Network after an exploit led to the loss of about $4.67 million in bridged assets. The interoperability protocol said the incident was tied to a Secret-side contract rather than Axelar’s core network. It said its main protocol remained unaffected.

Microsoft security researchers say a malware campaign dubbed “Crypto Clipper” targets cryptocurrency users by stealing wallet data, capturing screenshots, and enabling remote access. The campaign also replaces copied wallet addresses to divert transfers to attacker-controlled accounts. Microsoft said the malware has been active since at least February 2026.

A federal court approved a consent order that permanently bars Celsius founder Alex Mashinsky from U.S. commodity markets. The order concludes the CFTC’s civil enforcement action tied to the failed crypto lender.

Aster is redirecting 99% of platform fees to buy back ASTER while burning reserve tokens under a long-term supply reduction plan. The program links daily fee revenue to market purchases of ASTER and rewards veASTER stakers with the bought-back tokens. Aster also plans to cut supply from 8 billion to 3 billion tokens through burns tied to buyback activity.
