DWF Labs says more than $31 billion in real-world assets have moved onchain, but most of that capital remains inactive. In a report from DWF Labs Research, the firm estimates that less than 10% of tokenized RWAs are active in DeFi. It argues the next phase of tokenization will favor platforms that make these assets liquid, tradable, and usable inside DeFi.

Crypto ETF flows were mixed in the holiday-shortened week ending June 19, as bitcoin funds logged $226.8 million of net outflows and ether ETFs posted a $10 million outflow. Altcoin products drew net inflows, with a combined $46 million added to HYPE, XRP, and solana ETFs. HYPE ETFs led those gains with $27.9 million in weekly inflows.

JPMorgan analysts say bitcoin has traded below its estimated production cost for five straight months, leaving about 20% of miners operating at a loss. Publicly listed miners sold more than 32,000 BTC in the first quarter to fund operations. JPMorgan estimates production cost at about $78,000 per coin, versus bitcoin trading near $63,000. The bank expects volatility in mining metrics to persist until bitcoin rises above $78K or some miners exit.

Yield Basis said deposits into its new Hybrid Vaults rose more than 120% in under two weeks, pointing to demand for yield strategies that preserve crypto exposure. The protocol is aimed at a long-standing DeFi issue: liquidity providers can underperform simple holders during sharp price moves. Curve Finance and Yield Basis founder Michael Egorov said interest is rising in approaches that let investors earn yield or access liquidity without fully exiting positions.

Crypto ETF flows turned broadly positive on Tuesday, June 16, with bitcoin, ether, HYPE, XRP and solana ETFs all posting net inflows. The across-the-board gains marked a rare “all-green” session after weeks of choppier flows. The move suggested investors are beginning to rebuild exposure, though demand remained measured.

Wintermute said bitcoin’s rebound was helped by a U.S. inflation reading that met expectations and by easing geopolitical stress. The firm cautioned that a durable crypto-market bottom is still unconfirmed. It said a clearer return of inflows into ETFs, stablecoins and digital-asset treasury vehicles is needed for confidence in the move, according to its weekly market outlook.

Crypto ETF flows opened Monday, June 15, with bitcoin ETFs swinging back to net outflows while ether ETFs posted net inflows. HYPE, solana, and XRP ETFs also attracted new money. The split suggested investors remained cautious on bitcoin while adding exposure to other parts of the digital-asset market.

Securitize has expanded its tokenized AAA CLO fund, STAC, to Solana, with Ethena Labs planning a $250 million allocation. The move brings one of the largest tokenized structured credit commitments yet to Solana’s growing real-world asset market.

Bitmine’s crypto, cash, marketable securities, and strategic holdings total $10.4 billion after it closed a preferred stock offering. The company said it is continuing to push toward owning 5% of ethereum’s total supply. Bitmine Immersion Technologies said its ether holdings have climbed to 5.62 million tokens, taking it to 4.66% of the network’s supply.
