Binance has withdrawn its application for a Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) license in Greece. The exchange said it will pursue authorization in another European Union country instead. It added that it remains committed to operating in Europe and will continue aligning with regional rules while supporting the sector’s development.

Crypto exchange OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the owner of the New York Stock Exchange, have formed a strategic partnership to connect traditional finance and crypto markets. The joint venture, led by former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, is designed to develop infrastructure and products that deepen integration between the two sectors. The companies said the effort is intended to improve accessibility, regulatory compliance and market efficiency for participants across both markets.

Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan said the next cryptocurrency bull market is likely to unfold more gradually and with less volatility. He attributed the shift to investors’ changing preferences and appetite for crypto. Hougan said this evolution points to a more mature market, as participants become more selective and strategic in how they invest.
