The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is rapidly emerging as a leading blockchain for real-world assets (RWAs). It marks a notable shift beyond its traditional focus on payments and cross-border transfers.

Ethereum remained below $2,000, with CoinGecko showing ETH at $1,973, while large holders continued to add rather than trim positions. Wallets holding at least 100,000 ETH controlled 17.41 million ETH and 22.03% of circulating supply, both multi-week highs. Retail traders, meanwhile, showed strong buy-the-dip sentiment despite ongoing price softness.

Bitcoin and Ethereum recorded nearly $1.5 billion in combined weekly outflows, while XRP moved the other way with $20.3 million in inflows. Month-to-date XRP inflows reached $159.5 million and year-to-date totals rose to $311 million, highlighting continued demand as larger assets saw withdrawals.

XRP slid to a 15-week low as selling accelerated, with CryptoSavingExpert noting a drop to $1.32 despite signals that often support prices. Traders are now focused on whether $1.30 can hold, with CoinCodex showing XRP at $1.29 and nearby levels of $1.34 resistance and $1.28 as the next downside area if support breaks.

Messari's State of XRP Q1 2026 report says XRP is gradually moving beyond a payments bridge asset toward broader utility inside an institutional-focused DeFi stack on the XRP Ledger. The report highlights Q1 2026 network growth, including 2.48 million average daily XRPL transactions (+35.3% QoQ), RLUSD market cap of $340.3 million on XRPL (+45% QoQ), and an XRPL RWA market size of $2.25 billion (+124%). It also flags upcoming native lending as a potential on-chain mechanism for lending and borrowing XRP, expanding use cases into credit and collateralized finance.

XRP Ledger’s tokenized real-world assets expanded from about $227 million to over $404 million so far in 2026, a 78% year-to-date increase. Ethereum’s RWA growth over the same period was roughly 35%, while Evernorth data also shows XRPL reached $10 million to $400 million in 15 months versus Ethereum’s 36 months.

XRP is hovering in the $1.32–$1.34 support band after a brief dip below the level quickly reversed, a pattern often linked to liquidity sweeps and fading sell pressure. Market analyst Anasta says this area is the current inflection point, with CoinCodex data placing XRP around $1.33 as buyers and sellers contest control. Separately, amid $1.47 billion in weekly crypto outflows led by Bitcoin, XRP posted $31.8 million in inflows, offering a pocket of relative strength.

Digital asset investment products posted $1.47 billion in net outflows last week, with Bitcoin accounting for $1.315 billion and Ethereum seeing $223 million withdrawn. Against the broader risk-off move, XRP recorded $31.8 million in inflows, while Solana also remained positive with $7.7 million.

XRP has spent roughly four months failing to reclaim the $1.65 resistance, keeping the token in a broad consolidation as traders watch for a decisive move. The asset was trading at $1.33 and was down about 2.83% over the past week, with analysts flagging $1.10 and $0.87 as major support areas if momentum continues to fade.
