Morgan Stanley has again lifted its forecast for humanoid robot shipments from China in 2026. The bank began the year projecting 14,000 units, then raised that to 28,000 by early spring. It now expects 50,000 robots to ship from China in 2026, citing the fast shift from demos to commercial deployments.

U.S. humanoid robot maker Agility Robotics is preparing to list on Wall Street through a SPAC merger with Churchill Capital. The companies said Wednesday they signed a definitive merger agreement, valuing Agility at $2.5 billion pre-money. The combined company is expected to trade under the ticker “AGLT” on a major North American exchange.

DeFi protocols have lost roughly $45 billion in total value locked across all chains since January, as exploits and price declines weighed on the sector. CryptoRank data show DeFi TVL has fallen every month this year, sliding from about $115 billion to around $70 billion as of late June. The pullback has been broad-based, with only a small number of major chains posting gains.

Michael Saylor’s “buy and hold forever” Bitcoin strategy is drawing renewed scrutiny as both MSTR and BTC trade at yearly lows. Economist and longtime Bitcoin critic Peter Schiff said Bitcoin investors are “way too complacent” about the risks he sees building. Strategy’s stock MSTR fell to $103 on Tuesday, a 23-month low, as the company’s preferred stock STRC dropped nearly 13%.

South Korea’s internet-only bank Toss Bank signed a memorandum of understanding with the Solana Foundation to build and test cross-border remittance infrastructure on Solana. The agreement is intended to serve as a starting point for the country’s third-largest internet bank to gradually integrate blockchain-based digital financial infrastructure across its services. Toss Bank plans to roll out the work in phases, beginning with overseas remittances before expanding into payments, digital assets and tokenized real-world assets.

Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies extended their slide as some of the biggest buyers pulled money from ETFs. Spot Bitcoin ETFs posted nearly $227 million in outflows over the past week, based on SoSoValue market data. The latest reading marks a sixth straight week of redemptions, though it was the smallest outflow in that stretch.
