Bitcoin drops 5% to $62,000, giving up gains tied to the U.S.-Iran peace accord
Bitcoin slid 5% to $62,000, after touching an intraday low of $62,236. The move left the token down 7.5% from its June 15 peak above $67,300. The decline erased gains that had followed early rumors of peace between Iran and the U.S., and later the formal announcement of an accord.
