Microsoft has identified a sophisticated “crypto clipper” malware campaign that spreads via USB devices and targets Bitcoin and Ethereum. The malware hijacks a victim’s system clipboard to replace copied wallet addresses with attacker-controlled ones. The company said the campaign has been active since at least February, according to its report.
