Ethereum layer-2 Taiko pauses block production after exploit, tells users to withdraw bridge funds
Onchain security firm Blockaid said the exploit may stem from a flaw in Taiko bridge’s source-signal proof validation. Blockaid said crafted message proofs were accepted as valid on Ethereum L1 without corresponding legitimate events on Taiko’s source chain.
